The Museum that is located in Pyrgos village, was established in 1976. Works of great and famous artists from Tinos such as Chalepas, Philippotes and Sochos are on display, for your viewing pleasure.

The Municipality of Panormos has assigned sculptor Praksitelis Giannoulinos, and his team of students of the Art School in Tinos and maintainers, the maintenance and restoration of 16 plaster  models, that have been worn out by time.

Momentuous works of art, such as the Reaper and the Fisherman, by Philippotes, have been so seriously erroded that they were close to perishment.

To celebrate the completion of the maintenance, festivities took place on Saturday, June 13th at Pyrgos, during which Archaeologist Katerina Tzavelopoulou and Maintainer Konstantinos Vasiliadis presented the fruits of their labours.

Panormos Municipality's Headman Ilias Tzavelopoulos, as well as Sub-Prefect Rafios Moraitis and the Chairman of In-Athens residents of Tinos, Giannis Papadimitriou, prefaced the festivities.

The In-Athens Risedents of Tinos Brotherhood and the Prefecture of Tinos have lend a helping hand over the whole endeavour, assisting Panormos Municipality with the neccessary funds for the maintenance of the works of Philippotes.
